Can we make suggestions for other interests of our community? Or get some kind of feedback?

Here's a few of mine:

radiohead, interpol, deathcab for cutie, pedro the lion, low, the clientele, my morning jacket, vintage clothing, indie films, glbt films, etc.

Are you there? Are you alive?

March 22nd, 2005

I noticed that there is still a handful of people who are members of this community. Are any of you interested in seeing this community grow?

I know as a gay male, I'm a rarity in that I don't really gravitate toward the stereotypical dance divas (with regard to musical taste), nor do I dress like a stereotypical gay male... I think it would be cool if this would be a place where we could bounce ideas off each other. Recommend bands to each other. Discuss things relevant to us as "sexual others", but also relevant to us as "cultural others".

I'd like to help moderate this community, if possible.

That said, check SomaFM out. It's a great internet radio station. I like the Indie Pop Rocks station they offer.

Anyone interested in taking over this community? If no one is at all interested I'll delete it in the next few days.

I just joined.
Like right now.

I'm gay.

Don't know what else to say.
I guess I'll just list bands I like.

Le Tigre, Minus the Bear, Death Cab For Cutie, The Postal Service, Bjork, Melt Banana, The End, Pedro The Lion, Sleater-Kinney, A Flock of Seagulls, Gomez, Hot Hot Heat, The Rapture, Auf Der Maur, A-Ha, Ima Robot......

there's more on my interest list thingy, if you care. hehehe.

I don't get to go to a lot of shows, because I'm unemployed and my dad doesn't really do much for funding, so.

But anyway, hi.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone is going to the Team Dresch Reunion show in Olympia? If so, and you have a camcorder, I need to talk to you...badly.

Good to find a community like this...

I'm Vino, and I'm an indie queer in Louisville, KY, the most indie and queer city in America.

Feel free to check out my info page for interests.

My Morning Jacket is a local band achieving some pretty significant fame around the country... I also just discovered the Stills out of Montreal.

I invited a few people to the community, though I'm not usually a fan of that sort of thing. If you've been invited and you're annoyed you have my appologies. I just feel like I should be doing something to promote this community.

Again, I always welcome comment, suggestions etc. Hate the user pic? Find us a new one. Think I need to add inerests to he page? Let me know.

On a comepletely different note I'm not wild about the new pj harvey album. Stories from the city, stories from the sea was such a strong album I had high hopes for this one. I'm glad I didn't pay for my copy. Harumph.
